Getting the refurb one is a steal of a deal for not having to replace batteries. Overall Review: Keys are low-profile, so doesn't have the same feel as a normal non-slim keyboard. Still gives it a charge when sitting out during in the day, so shouldn't have to worry about charging it. Last RF keyboard I had wouldn't transmit well if it sat on my lap (must have been blocking the antenna), but this keyboard has no such problems.Ĭons: It doesn't recharge on indoor lighting as well as I'd have hoped (22%ish on their ideal scale for my front-room light). Took just a couple hours to full charge outside (on a cloudy day even), granted it came partially charged. Overall Review: Fans feel like cheap plastic. If you have a bottom mounted PSU, you'll likely have vents at the top of your case anyway. There's a back-mounted exhaust fan helping out as well, but some of the air will still circulate behind the 5 1/2" bays. Right now, it exhausts up into the PSU (mostly), which then vents out the back. A fair amount of Silverstone cases have vertical airflow where air exhausts out the TOP of the case, and this would be an awesome cooler in such arrangements. Airflow can either be up (preferable) or down, NOT out the back of the case as would be ideal. Just check your internal dimensions to make sure you don't have issues.Ĭons: THIS ONLY MOUNTS VERTICALLY BLOWING ON AMD BOARDS. The height of the cooler is just a shade too tall for the case I put it in (touches the side panel), but I expected such when I bought it. Gave enough clearance for normal heatspreader RAM (without risers).
Put a stress load on it with AIDA64's "Stability Test" and it peaked at 118*F. Put this on a hothead Athlon X2 6000+ Windsor and it idles near 80*F. Easily cools stock CPUs and has great potential for Overclocked CPUs if you get different fans (PWM preferrably). Fans (yes, two) are static at 1000rpm (can be undervolted to slow them down), so they're very quiet and don't "rev up" under load. With the severe monitoring limitation, I'd have been better off spending the ~$130 on a different camera solution that didn't have that handicap, and another camera may also have been able to tie in to my existing NVR rather than playing walled-garden like Reolink. Overall Review: We got this to keep an eye on the backyard and check on the kids while they play.

You also have to use their software to even access the camera in the first place, no web interface or ONVIF support. It's a "power saving" feature since it's a wireless camera, but I bought the solar panel and have plenty of power during the day, but their camera is too stupid to understand that and there's no way to force the connection to stay open. The software will kick you out after 5 minutes and THERE'S NO WAY TO CHANGE THIS. Image quality is OK for 1080p, but could be a bit better.Ĭons: YOU CAN NOT MONITOR THE CAMERA FOR MORE THAN 5 MINUTES.
